There are have been so many updates in the last month, that I felt it was necessary to dedicate a whole section to covering some of them. Here are the top ones I think are worth noting:
By now you should be aware that Europe is introducing an online application system for visitors who currently enjoy visa-free entry into the Schengen area. It was expected to be deployed in 2024, but has been pushed back to 2025. So if you're traveling to Europe this year, you will enter like normal. More on ETIAS
In more European news, 2 more countries in the EU have been approved to join the Schengen zone by air and sea. Negotiations are continuing so stay tuned for more details on when this will be put in place. Article from BBC News
Already a popular destination among nomads, I think this will only increase the interest in Korea. With the new visa you can stay up to 2 years as long as you make over $65k/year and have a remote job. I fell in love with S. Korea when I visited in 2019 so I'm happy to see more people visiting. Another visa update, this time from Kenya! Another place I really enjoyed after visiting in 2021. The visa application process was a little confusing, so this will only make it easier for visitors to see this beautiful country. More Details Here
Do you plan to travel around the US and visit one or more of the most popular national parks - double check if you need a reservation first! First tested out in 2023, they are continuing with the system after positive feedback. View for the list of parks participating
Since embarking on my full-time content creator journey last October, I've been testing and trying out different things to increase my productivity. One of my FAVORITE tools has become repurpose.io . I had a year's worth of TikToks I knew I could post to shorts & reels, but not the energy or patience to sift through them.
Repurpose saved me tons of time and ensured that I'm consistently showing up on all my platforms.
And yes, it re-posts without watermarks!
Currently I'm still doing manual scheduling so I can tweak as I go, but it does have an option to post for you automatically. You can even set certain "keywords" so that only certain content gets cross-posted. It's the most customizable system I've ever seen and has worked beautifully!
The graphic shows the systems you can connect to to source & post to. It even works for podcasters and my favorite is having a copy of all of my content saved automatically to G-Drive as well.
They offer a 14 day free trial to test it out to see if it works for you. Sign up here.
In this crazy season of holidays and making new year resolutions and goal setting and re-setting, it can feel like we never really get any rest. I want to encourage you to take some time to rest and breathe. Meditating, practicing breathwork, journaling, these all offer major benefits to your mind and overall health.
I personally found myself in major nesting mode the last few weeks and tried to pay attention to what my body was telling me. I know that's always possible when we have a lot of responsibilities to tend to, but if you don't recognize what you need and take time to address it, that's when you burnout. And burnout recovery can take a long time!

Hey Reader, It’s been a minute since I popped into your inbox, but if you’re still here… thank you. And if you’ve been craving an adventure lately - you’re not alone. I’ve spent the last few years traveling solo and sharing stories along the way. But lately, I’ve been dreaming about something different: What if I planned a trip that you could actually join?
